Design Mechanic & Motorized Solutions
Our processes at the point of providing special design mechanics and motorized solutions for customer needs; problem definition, design and static analysis, mechanical solutions, engine and automation selections, detail development and testing.Problem Description:
Our processes in our company, which produces customized solutions for customer needs based on the combination of the principles of architecture and engineering (mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and electrical engineering), begin with the definition of the problem.
During the problem definition phase, three scenarios may be possible.
● The customer's problem is clear and the system design to solve the problem has been designed by an architecture office. In this scenario, the expectation of the customer is the production and assembly of the mechanical components of the systems that will bring the current project to life.
● The customer's problem is clear and the system design that will solve the problem has been designed by an architecture office, but the customer also expects a more economical, more effective, and different system design proposal from us. In addition, it requests the production and assembly of mechanical solutions for the system among the selected alternatives.
● The customer has a problem, but there is no system design and project to solve the problem yet. In this case, the customer expects us to design and project the system first, and then requests the production and assembly of the mechanical components of the system.
Design and Static Analysis:
After defining the problem, system design and working principles are presented. The design and engineering constraints and limits of the system are determined. Static analysis of the system is made.
Mechanical Solutions:
The materials and components that can be used in the systems are determined. Tensaflex manufactures cable-supported, rail-supported, scissor-supported, tensioned, articulated mechanical systems completely tailored to customer needs.
Engine and Automation Selections:
After the load analysis, sufficient power and aesthetic part relations are designed according to the moving mechanical system type, electrical infrastructure and management panels, and the appropriate automation system is selected. Engine and automation selections are made to provide the designed physical movement.
Detailed Development and Testing:
Detailed development is the most important part of our business. System moving parts designed according to mechanical needs and spatial architecture are designed and analyzed according to mechanical motion relations.

Engineering & Prototyping
Mechanical Calculations and Static Analysis with 3D CAD Glass and RFEM:Mechanical calculations and static analysis are extremely important in mechanical system design. The durability, stability, and robustness performances of the mechanical systems we design are calculated using 3D CAD Cam and RFEM software. By simulating the system behaviors with these calculations, the risks that may be encountered in the installation of the system are minimized before the system is built yet. Thus, it is ensured that the system meets the safety and efficiency requirements that it will need in its final state, according to the principle of minimum maintenance and failure.
Partial-Size Prototypes and Making Specific Scales in the Fabrication Environment:
Partial dimensional working prototypes are made to test and improve the functionality of the system and the user experience. To see the part relations of some mechanical systems or to confirm whether the system is working, a certain scale of mock-up products is made in the factory environment, existing errors are corrected, and the correct application method is revealed.
Fabrication
Production of Special Parts:Mechanical systems designed specifically for customer needs may require the production of system-specific parts, often different from standard parts on the market. Tensaflex can precisely manufacture these special parts required for mechanical design, under the supervision of expert engineers, according to the specified material quality. Special parts that have been produced are packaged and come ready for loading according to international shipping standards.
Compliance with Quality Requirements:
Tensaflex observes International Quality Standards (BS/EN/ASTM) in all mechanical systems and components it manufactures, and CE certificates of both manufactured and supplied products in system components are presented to customers.
Installation
Installation & Assembly with Expert Teams:The installation of mechanical systems is extremely sensitive. In mechanical system installations that require detailed planning, the required sensitivity increases in case of special site conditions suitable for the region. In the assembly of the movable mechanical system, the movements of the system parts and the relationship of this movement with the engine are made by expert teams of Tensaflex or under the supervision of their supervisors.
Services & Maintenance
Periodic Services for Long Life System UseHaving a retractable roof or facade system is a good investment that increases the value of your property. These movable systems provide effective shading and protection in changing weather conditions, while also adding aesthetic style and architectural appeal to any residential, commercial, and industrial property.
Retractable roof or facade systems are long-lasting, practical, and user-friendly. However, it should not be forgotten that you need to have periodic maintenance and services to ensure that these systems operate smoothly for a long time.
Reduced Maintenance
Tensaflex offers a solution to the problem with its expert teams in case of a need for maintenance, and designs and manufactures systems that can be used for many years without any problems and require minimum maintenance in case of regular periodic maintenance.
